How to Get Cocoa Bakery Orders, Delivery & More
There are a few ways to get your hands on what we make. Here's everything you need to know.
In-Store Pickup
The best way to order from Cocoa Bakery is to come in person. Visit us at 475 Central Avenue in Jersey City Heights, browse the case, and take home what you like.
No app, no lead time, no minimum - just walk in during open hours.
Location: 475 Central Avenue, Jersey City Heights, NJ 07307
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 7pm · Sunday 9am – 5pm · Closed Mondays
Parking: Street parking available on Central Avenue and surrounding streets.
For large or custom orders, we recommend pre-ordering to guarantee your items are ready for you.
Online Ordering for Pickup
Order online through our Square storefront for in-store pickup at 475 Central Avenue. Most menu items are available for online ordering, including cupcakes, cake truffles, cookies, and specialty items.
Note: We cannot offer refunds on uncollected orders. If you need to adjust your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Delivery
We offer third-party delivery through Grubhub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash during delivery hours. Delivery is available to addresses within the delivery radius set by each platform so please check availability at your address when placing your order.
For large custom orders, catering deliveries, and wedding cakes, direct delivery within Jersey City may be available by arrangement. Please contact us for more information.
Custom Cake Orders
Custom cakes are available for all occasions — birthdays, weddings, baby showers, corporate events, and more. Every custom cake is designed and baked to your specifications by Chef Jessica Isaacs and her team.
How to order:
Fill out the custom cake inquiry form on our Custom Cakes page, or call us at (201) 830-3430. Tell us your occasion, date, guest count, flavor preferences, and any dietary requirements.
Lead time: At least 72 hours' notice for most custom orders. For wedding cakes and large events, please allow a minimum of two weeks.
Tasting appointments: Available for wedding cakes and large custom orders. Call or use our inquiry form to schedule.
Catering
Full-service catering for corporate events, office meetings, private parties, and celebrations across Jersey City and Hudson County. Our catering menu includes cupcake trays, cake truffle platters, cookie and bar platters, morning pastry platters, and custom cakes.
Lead time: All catering orders require at least 72 hours' notice. For events with 50+ guests or multiple item types, we recommend contacting us two weeks in advance.
Wedding Cake Tasting
If you're planning a wedding, we offer cake tasting appointments where you can sample flavor, filling, and frosting combinations before placing your order. Tastings are available by appointment with at least two weeks' notice.
You may select up to three cake combinations, choosing your preferred flavor, filling, and frosting for each.
Each tasting cake is priced between $12 and $15, depending on your selections.

Wholesale Bakery Orders
We supply a small number of local restaurants, cafes, and retailers in the Jersey City and Hudson County area with wholesale baked goods. We work with partners who value quality and consistency and would love to share our delicious treats with your clients.
